This course is aimed at anyone who has to speak in public, whether that is: making a standard presentation, a sales pitch or making you own online video content. We will approach this as a professional Actor would approach a performance and so we will be covering warm ups for the voice which include, typical exercises professional Actors use before going on stage. We will also be touching on how you can use your posture, body language and a physical warm up to free your body of inhibition and get rid of age old habits that can be detrimental to your performance. And we will also give you practical skills on how to prepare your mind for your presentation – whether that is through learning techniques, relaxation exercises to deal with nerves or through good old rehearsal.
We will also be going through how to write and develop a script so that you are word perfect when it comes to opening night.
Amy Botes, a professional RADA trained Actress, will guide you through this fresh approach to: how to be present whilst presenting, and will take you from nervous wreck to polished professional in no time!
